That's a Scheme!
There are some patterns in life that are too conspicuous to overlook. This article is about one such pattern.
ORANGE and TEAL
Just like the "enemies to lovers" trope, the relationship of these colours is that of arch nemesis in the colour spectrum and yet they complement each other well. It gives a sense of comfort and looks inviting at the same time. The teal-and-orange look, like any color effect in history, has its challenges. It is easy to understand that it's success is based on the colour theory. The right warm oranges combined with teal add vibrancy to anything, immediately causing visual disruption.
Be it Quantum Robot from the show- Shinchan or Platipus Perry from Phineas and Ferb, this colour combo is a go-to scheme.
This article uncovers the reason behind it.
But first, let's see the meaning of the concerned colours.
Orange
It is a youthful and energetic colour that symbolises emotion and enthusiasm. While being a stimulus for the brain, the Orange colour promotes creativity and warmth but impatience and domination at the same time.
"Apples and Oranges; two unlike things"
Teal
Teal is the colour of morality and renewal being accepting, supportive and rational. It is a well-intentioned yet reserved colour that has a calming and enlightening effect on the brain.
"Teal is a popping combination of blue and green"

IN ADVERTISING-
The partnership of these colours is so unique that it's difficult to bounce. Maybe that's the reason why Swiggy, in its latest marketing campaign, used the colour scheme to catch crowd. Even in pictures, reducing the warmth takes it towards Teal and vice versa.
IN CINEMATOGRAPHY-
In movies and shots, the 'Orange and Teal' look is called the 'Blockbuster Style'. But people believe that this color plague is ruining the American cinema being extremely overused and mostly poorly used. But the real issue is not that these colors are used, but the super-exaggerated ways in which they dominate all other choices.
Yet there's no denying the fact that though overly used, it doesn't fail to catch attention, even for Dr. Doofenshmirts!
